Wednesday evening Mass is canceled from January 14 through February 4, 2026, due to Father Cyril's absence. Regular Sunday morning Mass at 10:30 am will continue as usual with a guest priest.
Waco Deanery DCCW Meeting
All ladies of the parish are invited to attend the next Waco Deanery meeting of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women on Wednesday, November 12th at 10am St Mary’s Catholic Church, 1401 Washington Waco. Lunch will be provided by the ladies of St Mary’s. Meeting, brief program and meal will conclude about 1:00 PM. Make plans to attend and be ready to be inspired in your role as a Catholic woman and enjoy great fellowship with Catholic ladies from throughout the Waco Deanery. We will have a Parish Family Picnic on the grounds behind the church. Join us for food and fellowship with your fellow parishioners. Burgers, hotdogs, chips and all the fixings will be served. We will also have games for the children.
Come join us as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of ordination for Father Cyril on October 5, 2025, immediately after Mass. Bring your favorite dish (sign up list in the foyer) large enough to serve your family and to share with others. Father has made arrangements for another priest to cover his 1:00 pm Mass at Providence so that he can stay and visit with all of us!
The Women’s Group is holding a Fall Photoshoot Fundraiser immediately after Mass on September 21, 2025. Mini-sessions are $50 for individuals or families. Professional photography, digital images, and two printed 5x7 images are included. All proceeds will benefit the Virgin Mary Sanctuary Fund. Reserve your slot right away. The Catholic Women's Group will hold The Big Raffle on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Tickets are $5 each OR 6 for $20. Prizes are a grillmaster cooler, self-care basket, a $100 gift card basket or a smoked and seasoned brisket. Current Altar Servers are to be at practice for refresher training and to mentor new Altar Servers. Registration Forms will be available after Mass on June 1 in the foyer. Or, you may contact Heather Weekley or Matt Sheehy to request a form be emailed for you to print.
The Catholic Women's Group is baking for Easter so that you don't have to! Cakes are $25. Pick up in Sophie Hall immediately after Mass on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. All proceeds will benefit the Building Fund.
The KOPC and Ladies Auxiliary are hosting a fish fry on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Adult plates are $15, kids 11 and under are $7. A plate includes 2 sides, tea, and dessert. Sides are french fries, coleslaw, potato salad, and green beans.
We will celebrate Confirmation for 8 candidates on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Immediately after the Mass, we will gather in Sophie Hall and in a tent on the church grounds for food and fellowship.
There will be no Mass on Wednesday evenings from January 8 - February 12, 2025 due to Father Cyril being away visiting his family in Nigeria. We pray for his safe travels. A visiting priest will hold Mass on Sundays at 10:30 am during Father Cyril's absence.
